Burcu Önal Yürüyen

My name is Burcu Onal Yuruyen.  I was born in 1984 in Mersin.  I graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 2002 and from Marmara University English Dentistry School in 2008.  With the basic education I received at ISMEK in 2017, I carried my interest in photography, which has continued since my childhood, to a hobby level that can be called an amateur.  I became a member of IFSAK in 2019.  In the same year, I attended a documentary photography workshop within the association.  During the pandemic period, I participated in a collective study conducted throughout the country.  As a result of a 3-month work together with nearly 360 photographers and 33 precious editors, we produced the project of Photography in Corona Days, which was quite impressive.  During this period, I received a Conceptual Photography Workshop from Özcan Yaman, my group editor, after the project.  I am still at the beginning of my photography journey, but it is in the middle of my life.  In this way I want to continue in the cycle of learning, developing and producing, I am currently continuing my work with the online magazine X-POSURE, which Habip Koçak is the editor of, and which we produce together with Bekir Tuğcu and Tuğba Kırallı.

Burcu Önal Yürüyen

İsmim Burcu Önal Yürüyen. 1984 Mersin doğumluyum. 2002 Ankara Atatürk Anadolu Lisesi, 2008 Marmara Üniversitesi İngilizce Dişhekimliği mezunuyum. Çocukluğumdan beri süregelen, ilgi düzeyinde sürdürdüğüm fotoğraf merakımı, 2017 yılında İsmek’ te aldığım temel fotoğraf eğitimi ile amatör denebilecek bir hobi seviyesine taşıdım. 2019 yılında İFSAK üyesi oldum. Aynı yıl dernek bünyesinde belgesel fotoğrafçılık eğitimlerine katıldım. Pandemi döneminde ülke genelinde yapılan kollektif bir çalışmaya dahil oldum. 360'a yakın fotoğrafsever  ile 33 kıymetli editörün birlikteliğinde 3 aylık bir çalışma sonucunda, oldukça ses getiren Korona Günlerinde Fotoğraf projesini ürettik. Bu süreçteki grup editörüm Özcan Yaman‘ dan projeden sonra Kavramsal Fotoğraf Eğitimi aldım. Fotoğraf yolculuğumun başında sayılırım fakat fotoğraf hayatımın ortasında. Öğrenmek, geliştirmek ve üretmek döngüsünde devam etmeyi istediğim bu yolda, şimdilerde Habip Koçak’ ın editörü olduğu, Bekir Tuğcu ve Tuğba Kırallı ile beraber ürettiğimiz X-POSURE isimli online dergi ile çalışmalarıma devam etmekteyim .
